40 Days for Life - Daily through March 28th in Catonsville &
Annapolis
The
40
Days for Life Pro Life vigil will be held from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm
daily at 5602 Baltimore National Pike in Catonsville, across from St.
Agnes Parish (building between Burger King & Shirley's Family Diner).
It is also being held in Annapolis at 929 West St. on Tuesdays and
Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please park on the street, stay on the public sidewalk and do not block
the entrance, this is a prayerful demonstration.
The Light is on Wednesdays in Lent at
your local parish
Each Wednesday in Lent parishes in the
Archdiocese of
Baltimore host The Light is On for You, a special opportunity for
confession. Please contact your local parish for confession times on
Wednesdays in Lent. Of course confession is available at most parishes on
Saturdays throughout the year at weekdays at 11:30 am at the
Baltimore
Basilica,
St. Alphonsus and
St. Jude Shrine
downtown.
Straight
Forward Wednesdays in Bel Air at 6:30 pm
The Straight
Forward Catholic Young Adult Group meets Wednesday nights from 6:30 to
9:00 at New Life (210 Lee Way). Come discuss issues of faith and the
church with other young adults while enjoying food and fellowship.
Theology of the Body Study Baltimore on
Thursdays
The
Baltimore Theology of the Body Study Group meets every Thursday
at 104 W. University Parkway D1.near Johns Hopkins Homewood. Come at your
convenience; 7:00 pm dinner or 7:30 pm for reading and discussion.
Emmaus Night in Middle River on Thursday,
March 11
Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel (1704 Old Eastern Ave) in Middle River hosts Emmaus Night
on Thursday, February 11 at 7:00 pm in the parish center. This

Join Young Adults for an evening of adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament every second Thursday of the month.
Time: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. (7pm - Rosary; 7:30pm - Adoration and Confessions)
Place: St.
Patrick, on the corner of 10th and G Sts - one block from Metro Center
or Gallery Place. Free parking is available in the parking garage on 10th
street between G and H. You must get your ticket validated in the
sacristy.
Friday Devotions at Our Lady Center Ellicott City
Our Lady Center in Ellicott City (3301 Rogers Ave) offers Mass at 12:00
pm, then adoration from 12:30 pm to 8:00 pm with, devotions from 7:00 pm
to 8:00pm and ending with another Mass at 8:00 pm.
Clarksville Young Adult Holy Hour Friday, March 12
The St. Louis Clarksville Young Adult group is hosting a Holy Hour in the
Chapel each second Friday of the month at 7:00 pm. Afterwards, all young
adults are invited to go to dinner at Ruby Tuesday.
Young Adult Holy Hour in Laurel on Saturdays
The
St. Mary of the Mills Young Adult group in Laurel meets every Saturday
for a Holy Hour and Benediction at 6:30 pm in the Palotti Chapel (across
the street from St. Mary's). Join them after the holy hour for dinner.
Young Adult Mass Sundays at 5:00 pm in Federal Hill
The Catholic
Community of South Baltimore sponsors a young adult Mass every Sunday
at 5:00 pm at Holy Cross Parish (108 E West St.) in Federal Hill. Join
them after Mass for a social in the church hall.
Adoration and Taizé for Young Adults in
Bradshaw on Sunday, March 14
St. Stephen hosts Adoration with Taizé Prayers on the second Sunday of
each month in the church from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm, adoration starts at 6:30
specifically for young adults.
St. Philip Young Adults Linthicum on Mondays
The group now meets at the
Holy Trinity Parish Center (next to Msgr. Slade School) on Dorsey Rd at
7:15 pm on Monday nights. The first Monday of the month the group meets at
Holy Trinity Church at 7:15 pm for a holy hour and then goes to Glory Days
Grill (corner of Rt. 2 and Rt. 177).
Tap into your Faith Fells Point on Tuesdays
The St. Ursula
Young Adults hosts Tap into your Faith on Tuesdays from February 23rd
through March 23rd in the upper room of
The Green Turtle
(718-722 South Broadway Baltimore, MD 21231)
in Fells Point. Social begins at 7:00 pm with a speaker form 7:30-8:15 and
a social following until 9:00 pm. Monsignor James Farmer, pastor of St.
Ursula in Parkville, will speak March 16 on "Prayer: Communication with
God."
Dinner & Festival of Praise Middle River on Sunday, March 28
Our Lady of Mt.
Carmel (1704 Old Eastern Ave) in Middle River hosts Dinner &
Festival of Praise
on Sunday, February 23rd at 5:30 pm in the parish center. After
dinner come to the church for adoration, praise and worship and
opportunities for confession.
Taizé Prayer Group in Annapolis Friday, April 2
The St. Mary's Annapolis Young Adult group meets on the First Friday
of each month in the basement of the Charles Carroll House from 7:00 pm to
8:00 pm for a Taizé prayer group. Afterwards they go out to eat at a local
restaurant.
Holy Hour for Vocations Parkville Sunday, April 4
St. Ursula's in Parkville hosts a monthly hour of Eucharistic
Adoration for Vocations on the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm, including
prayers and
hymns. Confession will be
available.
Followed by a social.
Alternative Rock Concert in Fells Point on Wednesday, April 7
The St. Ursula Young Adults
are hosting a concert on Wednesday, April 7th in the upper room of The Green Turtle (718-722 South Broadway) in Fells Point. The Arrangement, an alternative/rock band, will play from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will be a small cover charge.

The spring series of the John Carroll Lectures will be held at the
Baltimore
Basilica (Cathedral & Mulberry Sts downtown) at 2:00 pm on Sundays,
March 7th, April 18th and May 16th. This series will focus on the
priesthood in honor of the Year for Priests.
Bishop William Murphy of Rockville
Centre, New York, will speak April 18 on "The American Priest and the
Social Gospel."
